Women & Entheogens Announces "Rise of the Dark Feminine" Conference Coming to Boston in July 2026
Three-Day Gathering Explores Power, Embodiment, Leadership, Community Care, and the Cultural Conversations Shaping Our Time
BOSTON, MA — Women & Entheogens has announced its 2026 conference, Rise of the Dark Feminine, taking place July 24–26, 2026, in Boston, Massachusetts. The three-day gathering will bring together educators, researchers, wellness professionals, artists, community leaders, advocates, and changemakers from across the country for a multidisciplinary exploration of embodiment, leadership, relationships, community care, and cultural change.
Rising like a phoenix from the ashes, Ayana Iyi, a prominent healer, teacher, and cultural leader based out of Detroit is bringing the powerful, life changing Women and Entheogens Conference to the Boston area. Iyi, known as a "High Crone Warrior Priestess” in the psychedelic and entheogen community, focuses on empowering women and practicing ancestral remembrance. She now carries the torch and honor of moving The Women’s and Entheogens Conference forward. The conference was originally started in Detroit by her co-wife, Kai Wingo in 2015.
With President Trump’s newly announced executive order “Accelerating Medical Treatments for Serious Mental Illness” which fast tracks Psychedelic Research for mental health, many people are left wondering how to integrate ancient modalities with modern times. Community, education and unadulterated self expression must be in the conversation. The conference is set to feature educational workshops, yoga sessions, crash courses in cultivation, massage and wellness activations, entertainment and a foundation of community based organizing. Setting the scene to provide a safe haven for women, people of color, the mystics and magic seekers and LGBTQIA people in the community to share their entheogenic journeys, challenges and hopes for our current psychedelic landscape in the U.S.
Ceremony is set to commence on Friday, July 24th at 6pm in Dorchester, MA.
The conference is part of a broader vision to cultivate year-round opportunities for learning, relationship building, leadership development, community care, and collaborative action through the Women & Entheogens ecosystem and its affiliated initiatives.
Registration, sponsorship opportunities, speaker information, volunteer opportunities, and event details are now available.
